APC’s Teatré Phileo secured a spot in the finals of the regional speech choir competition titled SIGABO 2019 which was conducted in Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Manila last September 29, 2019. From 29 schools, only 13 competing groups remained.
Their coach, Raymart Cabiten, stated that the team felt overwhelmed, considering that it was their first time to join a national competition. He revealed that the group’s enthusiasm during the event helped them to become qualified for the finals.
The finalists are representatives of the following schools:

- Berea Arts and Science High School
- Bulihan Integrated National High School
- Don Bosco Technical Institute Makati
- Don Bosco Technical Institute Tarlac
- De La Salle University Integrated School
- Manila Science High School
- Mapua University
- Maranatha Christian Academy Cavite
- Our Lady of Fatima University Quezon City
- Our Lady of Peace School Antipolo
- School of Saint Anthony
- St. Joseph College of Novaliches
The SIGABO competition was organized by the Children’s Museum and Library Inc. Junior Council – Regional Executive Board (NCR).
