The APC Microsoft Community (APC-MSC) organized the Beat Saber Champion, Microsoft Install Fest, MSC-Influencer, and MSC MVP Award last September 14, 2022 at APC’s Microsoft Room.
Beat Saber is a rhythm game similar to the popular game Guitar Hero; but instead of playing it through a game console, gamers play through a VR Headset. The top three high scorers of the game were chosen as winners and were given prizes sponsored by Microsoft PH. The top 3 players who won the said game are as follows:
- 1st Place – Jeb Cajayon
- 2nd Place – Angela Mae Tauyan
- 3rd Place – Michael Vinz Tapiru
Organizers also handed out Event Passports and Stickers for every activity that the participants joined, which was used for the raffle.
Meanwhile, Microsoft Install Fest was a booth activity wherein participants who do not have access to the updated Microsoft Windows and applications can be assisted, provided that they brought their devices with them.
On the other hand, MSC-Influencer was a social exposure activity wherein students can join by posting a selfie of them attending the event on their social media accounts. The participant with the highest count of reactions in their post will gain a special prize from Microsoft PH. With a total of 280 reactions, Jeann Sabado was crowned the winner.
For their final activity, the MSC MVP Award allowed participants to show their active participation by showing their event passports with stickers from each event, serving as their pass to the special raffle portion. Jehiah Mae Omillio was given the MSC MVP Award.
